2011 Mini Cooper;
Posted on May 31st, 2011 at 9:05 am by Sully and tagged , ,

The 2011 Mini Cooper is one of the top small vehicles on the market and is a strong competitor to the Hyundai Elantra which can be purchased from Washington DC Hyundai Dealers. The Mini Cooper is produced by BMW, who also produces luxury sports cars that are competitors to London Porsche vehicles. The Mini Cooper is one of the most fuel efficient and fun to drive small cars on the market, and other similar small vehicles can be purchased from a Used Car Dealership Brunswick. The Mini Cooper can be customized as well to a great degree and offers several features and performance options.

The Mini Cooper is available with several customization options and it starts at $20,000 making it one of the more expensive compact vehicles on the market. It also has other drawbacks like a small trunk and the back seat is also tight. But the Cooper also is one of the most fun to drive small cars on the market. The Volkswagen Golf is another small car that is similar to the Mini Cooper but is not as expensive. The Golf is a good commuter vehicle and it also offers a lot more trunk space than the Cooper.

The new Cooper is also one of the most fuel efficient small cars on the market. There are also other performance small vehicles that are not so expensive such as the Mazda2 and Mazda3. The unique style of the Mini Cooper is hard to match however, and many buyers of the vehicle prefer this feature. The interior is lackluster with a very small back seat. The safety of the vehicle however is industry leading and it has done very well in safety tests, however it is not an IIHS top safety pick. It is also a very reliable vehicle that has a warranty good for up to 50,000 miles or four years, and there is also vehicle maintenance offered with the vehicle which is rare.

Cadillac to offer flagship sedan;
Posted on May 25th, 2011 at 7:28 pm by Sully and tagged , ,

Cadillac will be developing a new flagship sedan called the XTS to help the company compete with automakers like Audi and Lexus, and Lexus’s latest models can be seen at a Lexus Dealership VA. The XTS sedan will be debuted in auto showrooms in 2012 and a concept version was shown at the Detroit auto show in January of 2010. Other high quality luxury vehicles can be purchased from a Rhode Island Used Cars dealership. GM had good reviews from the concept car that was shown in 2010, and the 2013 XTS will be based on a front wheel drive platform. Other new front wheel drive vehicles can be purchased or test driven at a Pennsylvania Suzuki dealership.

The XTS will be powered by a 3.6 liter V-6 engine with a plug-in hybrid system. This engine was shown at the Detroit auto show and it is expected that this engine will be used on the actual XTS once it is released. Cadillac will be discontinuing the DTS and STS models. The XTS concept gained a lot of attention when it was released last year, and it will likely continue to be a much talked about luxury model.

Cadillac has been on the rebound with some of its latest models, and a new flagship sedan has been needed for several years to help gain more excitement and interest about the brand. Luxury automobiles are a highly competitive market and the new flagship sedan will help Cadillac compete with the likes of the BMW 5-series and the Mercedes E class sedans. The new Cadillac sedan will be an attempt by GM to take market shares from these popular German luxury models and also from Japanese luxury models. The dimensions of the new XTS will be similar to the Cadillac Seville as well. The XTS will also be available with all-wheel drive.

Chevrolet Camaro Base Will Be In The GT9!
Posted on May 23rd, 2011 at 6:30 pm by George and tagged , , , ,

The muscle car news lately is the GT9 Goat that will be available around autumn of this year.  This muscle car is a revision off of the 1969 Pontiac GTO that is using the Chevrolet Camaro as the base unit.  One of the other vehicles that is receiving such high attention coming from Chevrolet is Chevrolet Volt.  Pontiac is not making this new model, it is a tribute to the GTO by an aftermarket developer.  This is exciting for all muscle car enthusiasts around that have seen the Pontiac GTO and for the enthusiasts that want to see a rendition of it.  Getting your hands on the original, is quite difficult, or paying the price maybe more than what you want to do.  Some have looked all over even checking out used lots like KS Used Cars, to look for the original.  This option still has some of the glory, looks and prestige.  There are not details either, if this beauty will be available at Chevrolet Dealership Lamesa.

The GT9 Goat was created by the designer Kevin Morgan.  They wanted to give a tribute to the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge, and in doing so they have created the GT9 Goat.  Releasing the pictures of the GT9, they have not yet released price or specs.  They are keeping all of that to a minimum, so we are awaiting the details on the engine specs and the technology that they will be loading inside the vehicle.  The color of the orange with black trim, to the split grille in the front and the rear spoiler, are all aspects that catch the eye.  While drooling on this magnificent piece, let your eyes wonder down to check out the exhaust sporting four holes instead of two.  Paying close attention to detail, you can see the Chevrolet Camaro puffiness on the sides of the Goat.  It is the perfection of true muscle meeting unique design respecting the original but not replicating it verbatim.

This will be one rendition of one of the greatest muscle cars of America, that will be sought after.  My husband already wants to purchase one as soon as it comes out.  Giving me the disclaimer of your purse is the only thing that can ride in Goat.  Of course I said “I do not go anywhere without my purse and my purse never leaves my sight”, he of course, wittingly replies “perfect, so we understand each other.”  Got to love men.  He will change his mind, cause he cannot go too many places without me.

It’s Absolutely Lovely to Share the Road!
Posted on May 18th, 2011 at 12:32 pm by Saul Good and tagged , , ,

Driving in the increasingly busy traffic of today’s world can be extremely hectic.  It pays to be courteous and to know the rules of the road.  You may be taking a tour in the Mazda Miata 5 which you might have purchased from Mazda Middletown.  Perhaps you are traveling in a place you are not too familiar with, and you run across that often confusing 4-way stop sign.  You do not reach this destination alone.  Of course there are three other cars waiting to take their turn, and possibly one out of four actually knows how to operate their vehicle at this particular enigma!

So now comes the question, how exactly are we supposed to navigate our used car Port Charlotte through this?  Well, of course it would be lovely if everybody paid attention to their driving and other passengers on the road.  It would be really nice if people put down their cell phones and made a conscious effort to be courteous.  This never seems to be the case when I arrive at one of these crazy contraptions of a crazed mind!

Of course it is not surprising because the government is involved, and they were too busy spending $50 for a $5 stapler then figuring out how to put a traffic light in and save us all a little trouble.  However, here are some ways to navigate through this popular pitfall with ease:

Be observant when approaching a 4-way stop sign.  The first vehicle to reach this intersection has the right-of-way.  However, sometimes it is difficult to tell who got there first!  In a case such as this, always defer to the person to your right.  It is so much easier to be safe than sorry!

For example, in this illustration I will be the driver in car A at the bottom of the photo.  When in doubt, I would prefer to let cars B, C, and D pass before me, in that order, rather than have an accident.  It helps to remember that 4-way stops are commonly put in places where previous accidents have caused an alarm to the Department of Motor Vehicles.  Since I do not want to be involved in one of those wrecks, I think I can practice a little patience. At least I can be the one out of four who knows how these stops are supposed to work!

Wanna Buy A Second Hand Car?
Posted on May 13th, 2011 at 3:04 pm by Kaitlyn and tagged , , , , , ,

If you apply a little common sense when looking to purchase a second hand car from places like Sprinter Dealer FL, all should go well, and you could end up getting a car which will serve you well for a long time.

However, if you rush blindly into what seems like a good deal, then you could end up not even getting the car home before it breaks down.

When thinking of purchasing a car second hand from Ford Dealership Minneapolis, there are some points which you should give consideration to and be on the look out for when giving your potential new car the once over.

Always go to view the car from Used Car Dealer Indiana, in good light. Never, ever go at night or view in an area which has very poor lighting. If the seller is reluctant to show you the vehicle in good lightning conditions, consider this a warning sign.

Always spend time looking for rust on the bodywork .While a few surface blisters are usually harmless, corrosion is a totally different thing. If you see a rust blemish then gently rub it with your finger and if you hear a rustling noise this could mean there is corrosion underneath the rust.

Look for any signs that the vehicle has been in a collision previously. Obvious signs are joins where the car has been welded, or creases on the bodywork.

Where possible take a qualified mechanic with you to view the vehicle before handing over any money.

Take the car for a test drive – it may be uncomfortable or have a blind spot. You can also see then just how ‘healthy’ it sounds.

Finally, walk away from the deal if anything such as the owner not being able to supply you with the correct documentation happens. If the vehicle registration documents do not agree with the address where you are viewing the car, be suspicious. The car could be stolen or it could be trader posing as a private seller.

BMW Coming Out On Top!
Posted on May 11th, 2011 at 2:51 pm by Kaitlyn and tagged , , , , , , , ,

It is a close race, one that likely will not result in deep price cutting to move models, but is certain nevertheless to be on the minds of executives employed by two automakers until the clock strikes midnight for the final time this year. What the race is all about is this: the perennial sales battle between two German automakers, BMW and Mercedes, with BMW expected to pass Mercedes in world sales totals for 2005. The ramifications are strong for each automaker and will set the tone for the way each company produces and markets vehicles from 2006 forward. You can find both BMW and Mercedes cars at places like used cars Salisbury.

Mercedes, like Maryland Mercedes Dealership, finishing second to BMW, like BMW Dealer California, is not a comfortable taste for DaimlerChrysler, parent of Mercedes and now owner of The Chrysler Group, maker of Jeeps, Dodges, and Chryslers. Only Volkswagen sells more cars than either make, but when it comes to a predominately luxury line up Mercedes and BMW battle alone amongst German makes with Audi a distant third.

Unlike American automakers, Mercedes is not likely to engage in deep price cuts to attract customers and “steal” sales that they would have made in 2006 for 2005 to stave off BMW. Still, purchasers of Mercedes vehicles should find an even friendlier showroom in which to shop when they negotiate the price on their “C”, “E”, or “M” Classes of vehicles.

So, exactly what has caused the shift in sales? Well, published reports indicate that Mercedes sales continue to rise, but slowly. On the other hand, BMW sales increases are in the double digit category which is what has pushed BMW ahead of Mercedes so far this year. Oddly, it isn’t the luxury cars in each automakers’ fold that is spelling the difference. Unknown to many Americans, both BMW and Mercedes sell cars that are smaller and less luxurious than the cars that appear in the states. Cars that compete squarely against Volkswagen’s Golf and offerings from GM, Ford, several Japanese automakers, and others.

Yes, it is true. Not all BMW or Mercedes models are luxury cars. Unlike in the US where a Cadillac is exclusively a luxury car, both German brands produce cars for the rank and file driver too. It is these types of cars that have fueled both automakers growth and is likely behind BMW jumping ahead of Mercedes.

To counter BMW’s surge, Mercedes does have an ace up its sleeve: the introduction of one or two smaller lines of cars to the U.S. market by 2007. If you haven’t figured it out yet, Mercedes has “A” and “B” Class cars that are smaller and less expensive than the current “baby” Mercedes, what we call the “C” Class. Mercedes hopes that the US market is ready for less pricey cars sporting the venerable Mercedes name and that these sales will propel Mercedes back into the lead.

Of course, what is good for Mercedes is good for BMW as the automaker explores bringing its “1” and “2” series cars to the US to compete for sales. Both lines of cars are positioned against Mercedes “A” and “B” class cars and are the same cars that have bumped BMW’s sales figures up.

Now if only Mercedes would consider importing it’s SMART car to the US market…

What Does The Future Hold?
Posted on May 6th, 2011 at 3:18 pm by Kaitlyn and tagged , , , ,

The future car, lets say a 2025 model Chevrolet Silverado Truck from Chevy Sarasota, will be a very different machine to its present day Grandfather. They will be packed with computers and safety devices ensuring that not even a stunt driver can crash, and they will run on carbon dioxide and emit strawberry scented oxygen. Well they might.

Predictions of future vehicles, like the ones coming at MS Honda Dealers, are usually wildly inaccurate, by now we should all have space programs to rival NASA based out of our backyard. However some of the automobile related cutting edge technology emerging now may well make it into production models of the future. But how much of this technology will be needed or even wanted? Car design of the present is already influenced by politicians, bureaucrats, health and safety regulations and emissions regulations and the stunning concept seen at the motor show emerges into the world as a 1.0 liter shopping cart, but at least its legal.

Personally I like the idea of fuel efficient hybrid cars, and fuel cell cars emitting nothing but water. However, like most enthusiasts I also like powerful loud convertibles with with the ability to snap a vertebrae at 10 paces. A sensible mix therefore is required and this will be the job entrusted to car designers and engineers of the future, to make a politically correct car that is also desirable.

Another imminent problem facing designers of the future is coming up with styling ideas that are fresh and new. Some of the more recent concepts are certainly striking but not necessarily beautiful in the classic sense of the word. But if there is one thing the automobile industry is good at that is innovation, and I for one am confident that radical and extreme concepts never before imagined will continue to appear at motor shows around the world.

Computer technology has already taken a firm hold of the automobile and the modern driver is less and less responsible for the actions of their vehicle, soon crash victims will try to sue the electronics companies for accidents they caused because their computer system failed to brake the car even though they were fast asleep at the wheel on a three lane highway. Until you have automation of every single vehicle on every single road computer driven cars are just not feasible, in my mind there are just far too many on-the-road variables, with all the logic in the world you cannot beat a brain.

Absolutely Lovely To Shop For Insurance Online!
Posted on April 29th, 2011 at 8:38 pm by George and tagged , , ,

Many would consider auto insurance as an added financial burden. And who would not ? Imagine paying for something that you are not sure if you will ever going to use. The worst thing is, auto insurance is not the product you can choose not to buy.  However, this is not to say that auto insurance is a total financial burden. It only says that there are products like auto insurance that the government imposes you to buy for your own sake even though you do not really like it. Nonetheless, you cannot do anything about it anymore and have to accept it as it should be.  Before you can drive your car off of Bradenton used car lot, you must have coverage.

Anyway, if you are ready to buy your next car insurance policy or ready your first car insurance policy, consider buying online. Why? Let us count the reasons…  As stated above, car insurance can be a burden primarily because of its cost. But would it be nice to know that you can certainly lower your car insurance cost using online resources?

Car insurance cost is influenced by many factors.  Depending on the price of your Chevy Cruze prices that determined the note amount, then adds even more when you have to pay the policy note monthly. The thing is there are factors you can change in order to lower the cost of your premium. Your car insurance broker may reveal the different ways on how to get cheap car insurance. But, it is always better to know this yourself? And you will know everything you need online.

This speed is not possible if you are doing it the traditional way.

Comparing these quotes will give you the edge on choosing which one is the cheapest (if you are after the price) and which one is the best (if you are after the quality of coverage being offered). You don’t have to wait for several hours, even days, to get a reply via mail. Within seconds, your quotes are already on your screen.

Furthermore, the internet can let you shop from several car insurance companies without leaving your home. It’s simple: you don’t waste your time and energy just to visit and inquire at different car insurance offices scattered across your state. Of course, that is not all. You can also get the ratings of these companies which are essential in your selection process. Here, you can differentiate those that give the right claims and those that are don’t.  You surely can remember the times when you have to pickup your heavy yellow pages and look for specific names for several minutes. Well, that is long been over with the revolution of the internet. You can now easily search for a particular company fast and easy.  Car insurance shopping may be very complicated for some. It may be very complicated for you too. But with the help of the internet, you surely eliminate the hustle of searching, calling, visiting and negotiating with different car insurance companies. Everything you need to know is online.

Think of it this way: you are the shopper; the internet is your car insurance shopping mall and information center you can easily access right at your very fingertips.  You can even find deals on the Daytona Vacation homes after saving money on your insurance policy to take a trip there.

Honda will launch next-gen CR-V later this year;
Posted on April 29th, 2011 at 11:12 am by Sully and tagged , ,

The Honda CR-V is one of the most popular compact SUVs on the market, and other high quality compact SUVs can be purchased at a Toyota Los Angeles dealership. The CR-V is the second major Honda model that has received an update and the updated CR-V will be released later this year after the new Civic is released. Honda is in the process of changing up some of its core brands to become more modern and to compete with Nissan Dealership Orange County models. The SUV and sedan markets are as competitive as they ever have been thanks to new models like the Nissan Leaf and others which can be purchased from a Salisbury Nissan Dealer.

The CR-V has been a mainstay for Honda and has sold large quantities throughout the years, but it has been in need of an update for several years. The CR-V was first launched in 2006 and is now having to battle with new entries into the compact crossover market like the Chevy Equinox and the Ford Escape. The CR-V is still the top seller in this market but the new CR-V will have several updates. There are no expectations as to when more details for the new CR-V will be released but the new model may be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this year.

The update to the CR-V will be shown by the end of this year. Updates to the model are not certain but they may include a better fuel economy, changed window style and body style, and other feature updates to make the model more technologically advanced. The CR-V gets good gas mileage at the moment and it has one of the highest resale values out of all the compact SUVs. It offers comfortable seating, a nice interior, and many places for storage, and it is one of the safest models as well.
